Inspired by the lovely pink bird the mom-to-be admired on her vacation, LTJ Events and Designs put together a baby shower they knew she would think was fun and elegant. Varying tones of pink were combined with tropical banana leaf prints and floral centerpieces for the tables. Amid the festive decor, guests enjoyed mini pancakes, fruit, macarons and mimosas. A beautiful floral hoop created the perfect setting for a photo booth. Guests left with a yummy custom monogrammed cookie. Thanks to Georgia's Emily Richardson Photography for capturing the event for us to enjoy.

UNICORN PRINCESS PARTY
OMG you guys! I was in New York for the last 2 1/2 weeks planning on using a family member's computer to keep my posts going... well... let's just say I didn't get the access and tools I needed and I just gave up trying to make it happen. I was so disappointed, but am back today (as of 2:30 am!) and ready to roll again starting with this lovely pastel unicorn party submitted by Kentucky's Jenfolio Wedding and Portrait Photography. A Design Decor went all out for their six year old daughter's party. I am in love with the paper flowers over the dessert table and on the back of the chairs. Enjoy!

CUTE CRITTERS AND DETAILS IN THIS WOODLAND BABY SHOWER
Adorable woodland creatures gathered round to help welcome this family's newest little one. With the help of Fairy Godmother Wedding & Event Company, this mama-to-be pulled off the cutest decor. The shower featured fresh flowers cut from her mother's garden and bird seed party favors to encourage guests to give back to nature. She even designed and made all the signs and paper products herself. The gift tent and waffle bar are two of my favorite features. Big thanks to Alexis Nelson Photography for capturing the cute details and sharing them with us!

MY GIRLS' BIRTHDAY
I can not believe how fast the days are going by! I just assumed with school out our days would be working on a slower pace, but that has not been the case. One big thing that happened was that my twin girls turned 12 last week. Officially tweens–and maybe the calm before the storm?! It's sad my girls no longer want the themed home parties. So, we let them each invite two friends for a day at Waterworld. Their friends slept over the night before and of course I needed to get some party decor into the night. The adorable party plates and table cover came from Walmart and I used Waterworld's sun logo as the cupcake toppers.
The top of the pineapple made a cute adornment for the cupcake display.
The popcorn was covered with yellow candy melt, and was delicious!
By the way, swedish fish DO NOT float. Not sure how people are getting those shots on Pinterest. LOL

LUSCIOUS LEMON & CHIFFON WEDDING SHOOT
If my daughter Siena were getting married tomorrow, I feel this would very much be what she'd want! In fact, she bought one of the plant holders used in this shoot for her room recently. I just love the pop of yellow the lemons give the decor against the darker floral shades. The hint of pale pink is soft and romantic, trickling through the desserts. "We used lemons for the splash of yellow and its light and refreshing feeling complimenting it with chiffon because of its elegance and diaphanous quality," explained Dennis of Toronto's Motion D. Photography, who was kind enough to share the photos with us. Simply stunning!

AN ICE CREAM SOCIAL FILLED WITH GLITTER AND UNICORNS
When I see a party submitted by California's Fairy Godmother Events arrive in my inbox, I know it's going to be something special. There's a little magic in everything they do--including this sparkly ice cream social filled with marshmallow twists, glitter and sprinkles. A couple of my favorite details include the plush table covering on the glitter bar and the gold dotted glasses. Photographed by Marianne Lucas, make sure to soak in the different details. Be inspired to throw a little magic into your own ice cream social at home.
