A bat mitzvah is such a special milestone for young girls. To use the occasion to be inspirational to others makes it even more special. A photography pre-shoot helped establish the look of the event. The photos were a great complement to the signage used throughout the event's design. I especially love the sparkly accents, personalized bags and cake. And what a way to end the night--but with a treat from the ice cream truck! Thanks to New Jersey photographer Vero Luce Photography for sharing the party inspiration with us!

BAPTISM GARDEN PARTY
Little Dixie is truly a blessing. Born 2 1/2 months premature she has already shown what a little fighter she is and made her baptism day that more special. Family traveled from Canada, New Zealand and Texas to California to meet her and celebrate with her. Mom is originally from Texas so she wanted to have a Southern garden brunch to celebrate the day. Mom even made the beautiful white cake with the cross of roses. Guests enjoyed tea sandwiches, quiche and sweet treats catered by Sweet Lady Jane. The memorable day was captured by California's Nicolenjoli Photography, who shared the day with us.

ELEGANT MINT AND GOLD BAPTISM
Event designer, Elizabeth Stinson, put together what I am sure was a very special event for her–her son's christening. She created an elegant and intimate celebration using a gold and mint color palette. I am in love with the table covering on the sweets table. The private residence also provided a beautiful poolside location for the actual baptism. Huge thanks to Florida photographer, Cary Diaz Photography, for capturing and sharing the beautiful details.

MINT, GOLD AND PINK FIRST COMMUNION DESSERT TABLE
This party struck a chord with me, because my girls will be receiving their First Communion in May. So, I'm personally looking for inspiration on what to do to commemorate the event. For those of you who may not be familiar with a First Communion, it's when a child receives the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist in the Catholic Church. Children are usually in the second grade when they receive it, and it's kind of a big deal.
Event designer Party Envy by Charlene used a color palette of mint, gold and pink that really complements the special occasion. The dessert table was filled with cake pops, cupcakes and cookies. And what little girl would not love that Barbie cake? It makes her feel like Barbie herself! Thanks to Charlene for sharing her delicious looking table.
