CHRISTMAS AT SANTA'S

The spirit of Christmas was brought to life by this couple who transformed their home into Santa's Workshop! Event designers, Fairy Godmother a Wedding & Event Company, incorporated everything we love about the holiday into this party. Guests were welcomed by Santa and Mrs. Claus, and entertained by glamorous carolers. Decorations included snow globes, trees, nutcrackers, and more! Guests could even visit with Santa's elves while they prepared party favors. I especially love the penguin and teddy bear lounging on a sheet of "ice" in the pool. Different food stations were prepared using grapes from the family's vineyard. It was certainly a night to be jolly!

A COZY CHRISTMAS TABLE

When you think of a cozy Christmas you might think of a fireplace by the tree, maybe eating cookies while sipping cocoa. Those kinds of references are made in this table designed by Arizona's Meant2Be Events. The soft gold tea lights, pinecones, tree napkins all help bring the traditional symbols of Christmas to make this table real cozy!

GIRL SCOUTS HOST ELF ON THE SHELF BREAKFAST

December 1 is Saturday and for many kids it's the day they welcome their Elf on the Shelf! It was also the theme for this special Girl Scouts breakfast.
For over 25 years the Riverside Community Girls Scouts in Harlem, NY host an annual Breakfast with Santa. This year, former Girl Scout, Marissa Flores of The Event Ninjas in partnership with Noirstyle Invites, gathered a group of colleagues and solicited help from the community to host the biggest Breakfast with Santa yet! The event included free breakfast, games, activities, a modern day Santa–and of course, those yummy Girl Scout cookies! I love how each table featured an elf in a different pose! The tree featured handmade ornaments created by the Scouts. The event served the community and helped Scouts earn their community service badges, while learning new skills from planning to hosting. There are so many cute ideas if you're hosting your own Elf on the Shelf party.

GOLD GEOMETRIC HOLIDAY TABLE DECOR

Looking to do something a little bit different with your tablescape this holiday season? This lovely design by Sweetwood Creative Co. uses nontraditional elements like black and white stripes, but keeps it festive with gold and sparkle. I especially love the tall trees and other greenery to help bring a little of the outdoor goodness inside.

LET IT SNOW! TABLESCAPE

Here in Colorado the mountains are already getting snow! I'm feeling pretty ready for it. Snow gets me in the holiday spirit and each year we always hope for a white Christmas. A white Christmas is the inspiration behind this elegant tablescape designed by Arizona's Meant2Be Events. The white, teal and silver color palette makes this decor a bit retro modern, but cool and fabulous. I love the adorable white squirrel to keep guests company. CHRISTMAS COOKING BAKING FUN

If you're like the Haggards, one fun tradition for the holidays is baking cookies. If you can get the kids involved, then it's even better. This family decided to turn their cookie baking tradition into a souvenir photo shoot. Donned with matching aprons and smiles, their two little ones made the perfect helpers. Photographed by Arizona's Anna Marisol, the shoot featured Christmas decor, special baking items like the recipe book and rolling pin, and of course plenty of icing and cookie dough! I think this would also make for a wonderful accordion-fold Christmas card. Enjoy!
