COFFEE AND DOUGHNUTS BRIDAL SHOWER

If you're in the midst of the winter blues, this beautiful springtime bridal shower will perk up your senses with the theme of coffee and doughnuts. Event planner Fairy Godmother Events used vintage decor in a historic setting accented with colorful florals. If you're planning a shower for this spring, you'll find some lovely inspiration here. Thanks to California's Makenzie Photography for capturing and sharing this elegant shoot. Be sure to check out the list of participating vendors at the bottom.

"UP AND AWAY" THEMED BABY SHOWER

This mom-to-be is such a history buff, that when she found out she was having a girl she immediately knew she would name her Amelia after her favorite person in history, Amelia Earhart. When her best friend learned about this, she went with an "Up and Away" themed baby shower. Her best friend made all the decor and spared no detail. Thanks to New Jersey's TLGreen Photography for sharing the day with us!

FOOTBALL PARTY TIP

We've all seen and do the wine charms... but I have to say I never thought of doing something to help party guests keep track of their beer or soda cans. I love this idea from Lydi Out Loud. She made cute helmets with a Cricut attached to elastic hair bands as "can charms." If you don't have a Cricut, you can use different colored footballs that would be easy to cut out.  Find this idea and more for your parties here.

BLUE AND FUCHSIA STYLED SHOOT

With the pops of fuchsia, plush white florals and table coverings I immediately thought the decor in this styled shoot from North Carolina's Jodi Gray Photography would be ideal for Valentine's Day--not just for a wedding, but for a shower or intimate dinner, too. In addition to the rich decor, event planner and owner, Shericca Bittle of Epic Event Planning, used an inspirational quote as a beautiful backdrop and focal point. A magical way to celebrate love! Make sure to check out all the participating vendors at the end of the post.

LIL' PUMPKIN BABY SHOWER

The family and friends of this mama-to-be celebrated her upcoming addition with a fall-filled fete that included pumpkins, sunflowers and classic games. It was a perfect combination and balance of handmade decor and store-bought items. I especially love the nail polish favors. Thank you to Arizona's Jacquelyn Phillips Photography for sharing the special day with us.
