If you live in the Nashville area you might be familiar with the Thistle Stop Cafe. Part of Thistle Farms, the cafe staff is comprised of remarkable women who carry inspirational stories of survival from prostitution, addiction and sex trafficking. The Thistle Stop Cafe holds its own story of power and hope, and is a great example of how–when a community unites–it can make a positive social change. More than 100 volunteers supplied the walls, deck, furnishings and cabinetry. Their large collection of tea cups were gathered from around the world and each came with its own story. Their cafe is also used as a space for special occasions. This particular high tea party was given to showcase their special space. If you are in the area, please stop in to enjoy a cup of tea, in honor of justice and new beginnings. Thank you to Nashville photographers, The Collection, for sharing these photos and the significance of The Thistle Cafe. (Please find a list of additional participating event vendors down below.)
