TEAL, PINK AND SWEETS FIRST BIRTHDAY

I can't believe that I am going to say this, but this is my 1,000th post!  When I started this blog I had no idea how long I would be able to keep it up, but wonderful submissions like this one from LeAnna Azzolini Photography keep me going! Not only did LeAnna take the photos of her little girl's first birthday party, but she made a lot of the decor, including the backdrop and wooden "1". I love the mixed patterns that make up the backdrop and the soft teal and pink color palette. Enjoy the "sweet" photos!

BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

I am definitely pinning this! It combines two of my favorite things: breakfast and dressing up! What better theme to bring that all together than Breakfast At Tiffany's? Orchestrated by event designer and the birthday girl herself, Lenee Valentine adorned the decor with all things Tiffany's: jewels, memorable quotes and Tiffany's signature blue. Don't we all squeal when we see that little blue box?! And I love the step and repeat photo area to make all the ladies feel special. Thank you Lenee for sharing your birthday photos with us! HOT AIR BALLOON FIRST BIRTHDAY

Are you all still coming down from the Halloween sugar rush?? I'm feeling a little bit of that, and a little bit of post party blues. My husband's birthday party was a blast--and I'm hoping to share some photos with you next week.  But in the meanwhile, let's start the week with a sweet hot air balloon themed first birthday party submitted by Tennessee photographer Ashley Hodges. The decor and sweets by Sweetly Southern Cakery were decorated in lovely pastels. Take a look!

Jumping in to say Happy Halloween! I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween - and for those who are having parties tonight - good luck! I know it's always exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time when you're hosting a party.  In fact, I'm hosting a 60's themed party Saturday night which I'm a little nervous about because I feel a bit behind. But I'm hoping it all comes together. Fingers crossed!
