MINIONS THEMED PHOTO SHOOT

My kids are already so excited to see the new Minions movie coming out in July. No doubt we'll see a resurgence of Minion parties! Great for a party theme and to bring it into photos of your kids, like this very fun one from Texas' Photography by TSM. What a great time it must have been taking this shoot of these adorable little minions!

AN ENGLISH SEASIDE WEDDING

I always love to see how special occasions are celebrated in other countries. What kind of customs or traditions do they have? Are they passionate about DIY like we are? Judging by this wedding from England, the answer is YES! The bride's "mum" made the bunting, cake, table decorations and bouquet. Not sure if this is an old custom, but the bride and groom fired a cannon into the sea in honor of their marriage. Love it! The nautical theme can be used for any shower or special occasion especially celebrated outdoors. DIY WINTER WREATH

Bummed you had to take down all the Christmas decorations? Keep your front door feeling festive with a winter wreath. I actually just found a plain white wreath at Michael's yesterday on clearance for $1.92! I can't wait to spruce it up a bit and hang it up. This is a cute door hanging idea from DIY Inspired. MOROCCAN THEMED HOLIDAY SOIREE

Happy new year! I'm looking forward to seeing what the new party trends are going to be for 2015. What kind of parties do you have planned? Although this Moroccan styled party was done for the holidays you can use this theme and ideas for any occasion.
