Camp Date Night Inspiration

Sometimes a party for two is all you need! I would love to find some time to pitch a tent with just my hubby–even if it's just in the backyard.  This lovely shoot was originally intended as a wedding theme, but it provides some fun ideas for a camp night over the Summer, too.  The shoot was inspired by Wes Anderson's film, Moonrise Kingdom. The natural beauty of the rocks and trees provide the perfect location. In keeping with the natural setting of the film, a color palette of neutral reds, yellow, green and blues were used. A vintage record player, lanterns and mason jars gave the setting a sense of comfort and intimacy.  Thanks to little bird media in Virginia for capturing and sharing the images.  And to the additional vendors listed below for their style inspiration!

Participating Vendors:
Event Planners: Darian and Dechele Events
Makeup Artist: Brooke Stone Stylist, LLC
Bakery:  Taste Budz

  1. Perfect for summer campouts with the kids (not too sure about a real wedding theme).
