CIRCUS THEMED FARM BIRTHDAY PARTY

Sharing their 5-year birthday proved to be double the fun for these two five year olds. This colorful circus themed party took place on a local family farm and provided fun for all! Pony rides, face painting by a clown and photo booth were just a few of the activities. I think just their adorable outfits stole the show! A "big top" thanks to Nevada's Jeramie Lu Photography for capturing and sharing all the fun!

FRESH FLORAL WEDDING

Intimate, elegant and plush. That's what I thought of when I looked at these beautiful images from this couple's wedding, beautifully captured by Pasha Belman Photography in South Carolina. And what great inspiration for a spring shower or other special outdoor occasion! The reception was set on a plantation that is 240 years old and provided the perfect green and soft setting the bride was looking for. To represent the bride's Russian heritage small accents like a Russian samovar (tea urn) and Russian sweets were added to the tables. The magical night ended with a dance to 'Unforgettable' under a chandelier hanging from a 300 year old oak tree. Dreamy!
Please refer to the bottom for a list of participating vendors.

PURPLE MINION 2ND BIRTHDAY PARTY

I got a good chuckle on how this mom came to choosing the theme for her son's 2 year birthday party: "As we watched the adorable yellow minions get transmutated into the crazy purple monster minions, we thought that is perfect! THAT is turning 2!" A great reflection of the terrible twos! But the big smiles and sweetness of this little 2-year old shows no evidence of being a little monster! It looks like he had a blast! Mom and Dad did a great job with the decor. I especially love the balloons and hard hats. And lucky for us, Mom and Dad also happen to be California photographers, DPARK PHOTOGRAPHY, who shared these fabulous photos with us. Please make sure to check out the other vendors listed after the photos who contributed to all the awesomeness.

MEET YOUR NEW GIRLFRIEND

Happy first day of spring!! It seemed like a pretty long haul to get to this day this year, didn't it? Although I hear the Northeast is expecting a little bit of snow. But whether you're indoors or outdoors, usher in the new season with this cocktail, coyly named "The New Girlfriend." This new cocktail made its debut at a small house party, and was photographed and shared with us by Oregon's Amanda Photographic. Get the drink recipe below.

The New Girlfriend
2 oz. Burnside Bourbon from Eastside Distilling
1 oz. apricot liqueur
2 dashes of orange bitters

Combine in a mixing glass, add ice, and shake until well chilled. Strain over ice and top with ginger beer or soda, to taste.

TRASH THE DRESS PHOTO SHOOT!

OMG! I don't think I would have the guts to do this to my wedding dress, but what fun to just get all messy with your family. This would be a great way to mark a milestone anniversary, right? Utah photographer, Smyer Image, did a phenomenal job capturing the mess in action! Really, there is only one chance to capture it all, right?! I especially love the one where the entire family is throwing the chalk (is it chalk?) up in the air. Enjoy and be inspired for your own one-of-a-kind memories.

HAPPY YELLOW AND CORAL WEDDING

This bride-to-be used her favorite color yellow to add her personal touch to the wedding decor. Coupled with coral, the decor was bright and happy just like the newlyweds. This couple seems like the had so much fun on their big day! The cheery color palette and all the decor ideas can easily be used for a bridal shower or other warm weather celebration. Thank you to Minnesota photographer Erin Johnson for beautifully capturing all the details!
