30TH BIRTHDAY TACO SMASH!

Poor Cassie could barely accept that she was turning 30. What did she want to do to commemorate the event? She told Texas photographer, Brit Nicole, that she wanted to rekindle a bit of her youth with–not a cake smash–but (wait for it...) a taco smash! Only problem was tacos give her a little bit of a tummy ache. So the fiesta included wine, tacos and Pepto Bismol! Although 30 is way behind me, I totally get it. Cassie, I hope you enjoyed every bit of your personal fiesta!

THIS WEEK'S PRODUCT FINDS

I love it when my Facebook friends are out and about and will snap a photo of something they see in-store that they feel is a great deal or product find. It's such a help! That's what I'm hoping to do here by posting some of the party-related items I find when I'm out and about. The frequency will really depend on how often I find share-worthy items, but I hope you'll find this helpful.

If you follow me on Facebook, then you may have seen this first find I saw at Sam's Club. These tubes of gumballs are perfect for Valentine's Day. You get 24 tubes for only $9.98! This is on our radar as a strong possibility for my girls to give out to their friends this year.
Next, did any of you see these white ceramic cake/cupcake holders at Target? The small version is $1. The larger version is $5. I really do favor white tableware because you can customize them to any color palette just by hanging some pom poms, tassels or ribbon around them. These can also be used as candle holders.
Until next time!

BRONCOS EMMANUEL SANDERS' NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY

Happy New Year! I know that is greatly (and embarrassingly) overdue. Y'see, I've been doing a lot of thinking about the blog over the last month or so; thinking about how I can make it better or honestly, figuring out how to modify it to keep myself motivated. I do feel like I've come up with a few ideas. I just have to start implementing them. But, here is one party, submitted by photographer Linda Murri, that as a Colorado resident got me pretty excited! This New Year's Eve soiree was hosted by Broncos player, Emmanuel Sanders. Asked to dress in white attire, guests enjoyed dancing, champagne and even rooftop s'mores – all in an elegant, purple-lit setting. When you look through the photos, notice that there are a lot of ideas you can easily replicate at home: the lighted marquee letters, glittery table coverings and hurricane candle centerpieces. I would love to figure out a way to copy that dress of champagne flutes! Make sure to check out the list of participating vendors at the bottom.
