A MAGICAL EASTER TEA

Don't you wish you could be a child again? Everything seemed so magical and there seemed to be a very fine line between imagination and reality. Alberta photographer, Tammy Deren of Smiley Eyes Photography, styled what might at first seem like an Easter tea party for two special girls, but as you look around at all the details you'll discover some magic. There's Peter Rabbit stopping by to say hello with gifts.  A sprite singing a song with her pet owl. White balloons that become clouds, and more.

For those of you celebrating, I wish you a very magical Easter!

EASTER TABLE FOR TWO

Do you have your Easter plans set yet? I'm sure most of you are getting together with family or friends. Before you head on over to the big gathering, why not indulge in some quality time with a significant other in the morning. If it'll only be the two of you–even better–you can snuggle and just enjoy the whole day together! I love this sweet table designed and photographed by Connecticut's Kristina Staal. The Easter touches are subtle to keep everything elegant, while still being festive.

THIS WEEK'S PRODUCT FIND @ WALMART

I love finding products that give me a head start with any DIY project. That's why I was so happy to find these pre-made pallet pieces at Walmart. There are two different sizes, with prices from $9.97 to $14.97. Saves you from sanding and nailing together the plank pieces. You'll also notice that the smaller versions are offered in different finishes. A great deal!

BOY'S STAR WARS BIRTHDAY PARTY!

This little boy got a birthday party that was out of this world! A Star Wars themed birthday party filled with banners, balloons and pun-filled snacks. Using yellow, black and an accent of blue, it was the perfect setting for adults and young ones to celebrate. Thanks to South Carolina photographer, Kate Timbers, for sharing the photos with us.

FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WITH ORIGINAL WEDDING CAKE!

How many of you saved and actually ate the top tier of your wedding cake on your first anniversary? We did freeze our's but I have to admit, we didn't eat it. This couple not only thawed their's out, but even used their original cake toppers, the owl salt and pepper shakers, and monogrammed napkins left over from their reception to create the perfect table setting to celebrate their first anniversary! The crest you see positioned with the owls was inspired by the crest design from their "Save the Date." Thanks to the bride and photographer, Teresa Daniel, from Memphis' Suite Like Tee Photography for sharing the ideas and photos.
