An "eerily easy" idea for Halloween from Good Housekeeping. This garland uses mouthwash size cups, scrapbook paper and a string of store-bought lights. I think it's pretty genius! You can customize the look for any party theme. Find the complete directions here.
Here's a garland gone vertical! This one does require a little extra effort but I think the final look is well worth it! Hang these pom pom vines from trees as shown, or you can still hang them horizontally across the wall. A tip: When making these, or any type of tissue paper pom pom, make sure to go for quality tissue paper sold at card or craft stores (i.e. don't buy the dollar store tissue paper). Cheaper tissue paper will rip way too easily and you'll only get frustrated. And if you use the better tissue paper, the pom poms will store better and you'll get to reuse your pom pom vines again. This garland doubles as a sweet favor! Just tie lollipops one at a time at the bottom of the lollipop "ball" to colored string. (Photo source here.)
