FREE PRINTABLE: LALALOOPSY THANK YOU CARD

PAPER CONE GARLAND

You think you've seen them all when it comes to garlands? Well, here's another great one from Jacks & Kate made by turning white disks into cones.  Strung together, they have a really fun effect. They remind me of flying saucers, so this would be perfect for a stars or space-themed party.  Or paint the rims with different colors, like she did, and it's ready for any party!  Find the full tutorial here.

TODAY'S TAKEAWAY: HANGING STUFFED HEARTS

These stuffed hearts floating over the table are so sweet.  Done for a wedding, this would be a great idea for a baby shower, too.  You could use something like stuffed teddy bears to make it look like a nursery mobile.  The matching cake toppers finishes the look! LATE SUMMER MANTEL

Here's a great way to transition your mantel decor from Summer to Fall from Craftberry Bush. I love this idea because you can use the same frame to transition into different holidays or seasons. Just swap out the leaves and flowers for ornaments or snowflakes. For the Fall, you might want to use faux flowers to prevent them from drying up a bit and crackling onto your mantel.  Plus, they might be easier to hang from the twine.  Find the full tutorial here.

GARDEN PARTY – COWBOY STYLE!

I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday weekend! What a way to wrap up the Summer than with this amazing modern red, white and blue summer soiree?!  Guests feasted on sliders, pecan bars, signature cocktails and more, catered by The Cheeseboard and served by sexy cowboys and cowgirls.  Yee-haw! All this was enjoyed with spectacular views from the hosts' home in Reno, Nevada.  The band, along with the cowboys and cowgirls, kept the party rockin' all night.  Photographer annie X photographie from California, beautifully captured the night's events from afternoon 'til dusk!
