This mom-to-be is such a history buff, that when she found out she was having a girl she immediately knew she would name her Amelia after her favorite person in history, Amelia Earhart. When her best friend learned about this, she went with an "Up and Away" themed baby shower. Her best friend made all the decor and spared no detail. Thanks to New Jersey's TLGreen Photography for sharing the day with us!

PRINTABLE LEMONADE PARTY FAVORS
My girls love doing some sort of "stand" over the summer. We did a snow cone stand last year. This year they shared a small candy stand with friends during a garage sale the neighborhood had. This little idea from design, eat, repeat would add a fun item to any lemonade stand or favor for any summer party. If you can't find chicklets, you can use hard yellow candies available at party stores. The printable is provided free! Find it and the original post here.

Pinata Ice Cream Cones
When you're having an ice cream social I think it's a great idea to have "ice cream treats" that aren't necessarily actual ice cream, like this and this. And here's another idea that would be fun for guests to take home with them – a surprise ice cream cone piñata from evite. Fill them with M&Ms, jelly beans or hard candies. Find the full tutorial here.

DIY Mason Jar Cupcake Favor
My girls went to a party this weekend and this was in their goodie bag. Looking at it, I was wondering if there was some way to make it. With a little searching online, I actually found a pictorial at Wedding Day Pins here. And what did they use as the frosting on the cupcake? Caulk! A cute favor for any occasion. Fill it with candy or bath salts.

Guest Post: Michelle Pino of Skana Spa with a DIY Scrub Recipe
I am so pleased to have Michelle Pino as my guest today on Home Confetti. Michelle Pino is the Spa Manager at Skana Spa in Verona, NY. Michelle loves learning new tips and tricks in the health and beauty industries, but also loves DIY projects, cooking, baking and leading a healthy lifestyle. She's here to share one of her favorite projects, and a great reason to get your girlfriends together for a fabulous girls night in. Take it away Michelle!
What's better than a girls night? Hmmm... I can't think of much! Some of the most fun, relaxing and best memories have come from spending time with my lovely lady friends. If you're in the mood to relax, rejuvenate and rid yourself of that layer of dead skin Winter has provided you, invite your closest girlfriends over and try out this easy DIY body scrub. (Might as well get a few bottles of wine and some chocolate, too!)
Ingredients:
- Almond Oil
- Raw Sugar
- Oatmeal (optional)
- Brown Sugar (optional)
- Essential Oils of your choice
Body scrubs are so simple to make: Mix one-part oil, two-parts sugar and voila! (Just make sure your body scrub isn't too soupy.)
Gather your girls and let them each make their very own body scrub adding brown sugar, oatmeal or a scented essential oil to their body scrub to tailor it to their preference. Have a few mason jars on hand for each lady to store her scrub in, as well as a few bows, ribbons or printable stickers to decorate the jars.
This is a fun and inexpensive way to spend time with the women in your life crafting, relaxing and sharing stories all while making a little jar of body scrub that can be used while taking your next shower. Your mind will calm, your skin will glow and your friends will thank you for such a wondrful girls night!
**Sharing beauty and health tips and tricks is something I love doing. I am so thankful to have a rewarding job. Working at the spa at Turning Stone Resort and Casino has allowed me to gain so much knowledge and experience within the industry. Sharing simple recipes like this is a pleasure. Thanks Rose Marie!**

Monster Push Pop Valentines
Isn't it great that push pops are finally available in stores?! Wilton makes them now, so you can find them in places like Michaels. Some party stores are carrying them now, too. Repeat Crafter Me who came up with these adorable Monster Push Pop Valentines, found her's at a local party store called Fancy That.
Use this idea as a party favor or classroom Valentine's Day treat. Find the original post here. She even includes the printables!

Easy Holiday Classroom Favor
I'm slowly getting things organized for the girls' holiday parties. I'm using this little idea as a game prize. This is also great if you need a party favor or just want to give something to classmates before the winter break. It's cheap and easy.
I found these multi-colored bouncey balls at Walmart for only 97 cents per package. And the 50-pack cellophane treat bags for $2.50--also at Walmart.
I used a FREE reindeer bag topper printable from The Cooke Family you can find here. I just changed the wording to fit my prize: Have a BALL over the Holidays! The message also works since the party is the last day before break. And then put it all together. This is also a great solution if your school discourages sweets like our's does.
Have a great weekend!

Classmate Halloween Idea
Don't you love The Dollar Tree (or any other dollar-type store)??!! Just walking around the store presents so many ideas! I was so excited to find these eyeball bubbles there. Last year we gave teachers this, which is very much the same idea, but with chocolate. This year we wanted to give something to the classmates. But, because the girls' school is really discouraging sweets, these bubbles are a perfect alternative! And I used the same free printable from Blog 5 to 9 done for Thirty Handmade Days that you can find here. Perfect just as a party favor, too.
Are you giving anything to your kids' classmates??
