PINK AND BURLAP BABY SHOWER

Burlap, pink and cute buttons were used in this baby shower to celebrate baby Emma's upcoming arrival. A lovely pink ombre ruffle cake was the highlight of the table.  The baby feet cookies were super adorable as favors. This mama-to-be was showered with plenty of love–and nice gifts, too! Thanks to Lauren Carroll Photography in Louisiana for capturing and sharing the celebratory photos.

SPRINGY TRIX TREATS

Spring and Easter always seem to summon a welcome burst of color!  I love seeing all the pastel colored merchandise already on store shelves.  These colorful Trix Treats from Made to be a Momma are just the right thing to add to spring parties.  They're also a cute idea for a Lalaloopsy, rainbow or confetti themed party.  Find the full recipe here.

MINT AND PURPLE MERMAID PARTY

Looking through these photos it's instantly obvious parents of new one year old Allison spent countless hours on her party.  They made the wooden "1" sign, garlands, centerpieces, dot hangers over the entrance and much more.  It was certainly worth it, because everything looked gorgeous! Little Allison herself even matched the decor.  I personally love the die cut toppers and photo banner.  Kids enjoyed a train ride, face painting, sand box and bounce house.  Huge thanks to Cary Diaz Photography in Florida for capturing and submitting all the beautiful details of this underwater adventure!

ARTSY RAINBOW PARTY

Wedding planner, Katie, of Day Planner Events, threw a colorful and fun rainbow party for her most important client, her daughter. Based on her daughter's love of art and everything crafty, she transformed her husband's gym into a bright and colorful space where 14 little girls could create their own masterpiece, bracelets and enjoy an amazing rainbow cake by Icing and Sprinkles. Big thanks to Dash Photography right here in Colorado for taking and submitting the artful photos!

TISSUE PAPER WALL LETTERS

This project from for the love of... is a great 3D decor item for your party backdrops.  It really makes an impact on the wall.  Instead of tissue paper, you could cover the letters with gems–but just make sure the letters don't get too heavy to hang.  Find the full tutorial here.
