Get Inspired in Aruba

This post brought to you by Aruba Tourism Authority. All opinions are 100% mine.

Living in Colorado, we long for the opportunity to sink our feet in the ocean sand and feel the salt water on our faces. Aruba is on our bucket list for a family vacation! My parents have been there twice and it is still one of their favorite islands.  What's great about Aruba is that no matter your passions or personality, there is something for everyone. Whether you're a foodie, outdoor enthusiast, beach bum, golfer-Aruba has you covered!  For me, I think I'd love to try horseback riding on the white beaches or just float on the calm waters... or what about one of those outdoor massages?!  Best of all, Aruba is ideal for families.  With 7 year-old twin girls, we are kept busy and running around! Aruba is a great place to de-tech and re-connect with the family.  I love this video of the Everlys family, who have been there 14 times together as a family!

And because we're always talking about home entertaining here on Home Confetti, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention all the amazing inspiration Aruba offers.  Once you've been there, you can easily bring a little Aruba home with you.  The culinary scene in Aruba is full of flavor and diversity. Classic delicacies such as foie gras and chateaubriand along with fresh Caribbean Catch such as mahi-mahi rival the most cosmopolitan cities. The style is casual, yet elegant.  The turquoise waters, limestone coves and green trails create the perfect color palette.  Here is an inspiration board that can help you create the right mood and setting at home.

  1. I deserve a day to lounge in white sand and have waves hit my feet while my family stays in Colorado.

  2. I loved Aruba. I have been there twice. Once was for a destination wedding. It was great. the bride had activities set up for us everyday (booze cruise, rehearsal dinner right on the beach, etc.) I highly recommend it! It's pretty much guaranteed weather.
