I was so touched by the story behind this princess styled photo shoot, that I just have to share it with all of you, and share the generous contributions of all involved. Smiling in these photos is little Mackenzie, who at only 14 months, was diagnosed with Horner System Drive, a rare eye disease and Neuroblastoma, a form of cancer found mostly in children. During her 6 months of treatment Mackenzie really couldn't live the usual life of a toddler. Due to her weak immune system, things like going to the store and playing with other children weren't an option. However, after finishing her last cycle of chemotherapy, she was able to experience Disney on Ice from the front row, through an amazing organization called The Front Row Foundation. With the help of many generous vendors, Rhode Island photographer Massart Photography was able to give Mackenzie her own fairy tale with this enchanting tea party with three of Disney's most beloved princesses! Best of all, like most fairy tales, Mackenzie's story ends with a happy ending! After undergoing eight cycles of chemotherapy, the family was told the cancer was no longer showing up in her scans! My heart and prayers go out to this beautiful little girl; that she may lead a healthy and normal life. And thank you to people like Audrey Massart who help spread a little sunshine in people's lives! Make sure to check the listings below for all contributing vendors.
