It's not a cupcake, and it's not a cake... it's a cupcake-cake! Cupcake-cakes are ideal because they give you the look of a cake, but they make serving so much easier. You don't need to worry about making a mess from cutting into the cake, or uneven slices. I always have someone saying, "that piece is way too big" and I get a lot of uneaten pieces of cake left over. With a cupcake cake each guest can just "pull away" their own cupcake.
