As much as I love a themed party at home, how can you beat a birthday in the happiest place on Earth?! This little lucky boy got to spend his 4th birthday at Disney World with, not just one, but all his favorite Disney characters. What a treat to go on an adventure with Donald Duck, pose with the characters from Cars, Watch Nemo come to life and so much more! Take inspiration from the colors, the wall of drawings, the Mickey desserts and favor treats for your own party ideas. A big Disney thanks to mom and photographer, Gage Blake Photography in Ohio for sharing the special trip.

PLASTIC EGG ACORNS
I'm sure you have plenty of plastic Easter eggs bagged away in your holiday bins. Here's a great reason to pull them out and re-use them as favors or a special treat for kids. They would even be fun to use as part of a scavenger hunt. Find the full tutorial, plus other fall crafts, at Better Homes & Gardens here

CELEBRATING 365 DAYS OF SWEET LOVE
I was overwhelmed by cuteness when I first looked at these photos from Niagara's Jessica Little Photography. Not just by the decor, but by the idea of commemorating a first anniversary with such a sweet photo shoot. The styling and use of pastel colors is even great inspiration for a sweets or ice cream themed party. And how much do we love that dress?! DIY GEL AIR FRESHNER
I usually start thinking about my holiday neighbor/teacher gifts at the beginning of November. I try to find something low-cost that would be easy to make a few at a time. I came across this great idea from Bitz & Giggles. This gel air freshner totally fits the criteria and you can tailor it to the season. You can make it a bit more Christmas themed with red gel and snowflake trinkets. Find the full tutorial here.

BLUE AND WHITE FARM WEDDING
I am back from a fun long weekend in the mountains with my family. Labor Day weekend seems to be one of those weekends that sees a lot of weddings. We actually saw one where we were in Winter Park. The ceremony was being held at the top of the mountain and everyone had to take the chair lift up to get there. How fun! I'm thrilled to be starting this week with a lovely wedding taken and submitted by Traverse City photographers, Dan and Melissa Photography. Forget that this is a wedding–the furniture and color scheme make me want to rethink my own home furniture! Fowler Farms in Traverse City, Michigan provided the beautiful setting. The decor was such a perfect mix of modern and vintage. Enjoy the details!
