TODAY'S TAKEAWAY: CREPE PAPER TENT

You know I love any easy and inexpensive DIY party project! Check out this "magical bubble house" Kent Heartstrings made for a birthday party. The strands of crepe paper are wrapped around and held down by heavy sticks.  This is a great idea for a fairy or tea party, or use brown or green crepe paper for a camping party. Find the full party here.

WHITE AND GOLD OUTDOOR WEDDING

Nestled in the lovely hillside within the California Redwoods is the Creekside of Los Gatos, the perfect setting for this couple's wedding nuptials. The greenery adorned with beautiful white flowers and gold accents complemented the groom's military dress and the bride's white gown perfectly. After the outdoor ceremony, guests were ushered into a cabin–the original landmark for the homestead–for the reception.  Thank you to California photographer, Tony Fitzgerald Photography, for submitting and capturing the memorable day!

FAMILY CIRCUS STYLED PHOTO SHOOT

Everyone loves a circus! Especially this family–who even did some DIY projects, like sewing the tent, for this adorable photo session. A popular theme also for parties, this kind of photo shoot would be a great keepsake for your event.  Thank you to Colorado photographer, Sharon Arnoldi for capturing the fun and sharing the photos with us!

LADIES NIGHT IN SPA PARTY

I know I don't spend nearly enough time with my girlfriends, so when we are actually all together we gotta make it count! One of my favorite ways to do that is with a spa night–very much like what event designer, Lenee Valentine did here. She ushered in the help of Pamper Perfect Mobile Spa to execute the spa services and a signature drink. Lenee set the ambiance with candles, delicious food and even treated the ladies to personalized flip-flops and water bottles. My girlfriends and I need one of these nights stat! Thanks Lenee for sharing the night with us!

BATMAN INSPIRED WEDDING!

What do you get when two comic book lovers are tying the knot?  One answer is a Batman inspired wedding! A yellow and black color theme, along with subtle Batman details, helped personalize this wedding and make it a memorable event for everyone involved. The cake toppers and caped photo of the bridal party are just a couple of my favorite details.  Thank you to Sunflower Photography in British Columbia, Canada for sharing the fun photos with us!
