GENDER REVEAL PHOTO SESSION

This photo session from Crystal Reyns Photography in Virginia offers two amusing ideas to reveal a baby's gender. These photos could be turned into a fun baby announcement to share with family and friends–and make a great keepsake.  The first idea is revealing baby's gender through cupcakes, which you may have seen done at parties.  The second is a little more daring using pink or blue paint!

MOONLIGHT MARGARITA

Happy Cinco de Mayo!  If you have the opportunity to relax this evening after a long day on your back deck or just on the couch try this electric blue margarita. Here's a party that you are going to dig. (Sorry, couldn't help myself!) Photographer Thalyta Swanson, located right here in Fort Collins, Colorado, has proven with this party for her 4-year old son that she is as talented a DIY party planner as she is a photographer. She didn't leave one construction cone unturned. From the hard hats to the "dirt" covered cake. SWEET VINTAGE BABY SHOWER

This sweet baby shower to welcome baby Ava hit all the right marks for a vintage inspired celebration.  Lace touches, a vintage plane and books with a touch of pink helped bring it all together.  Even the choice of desserts is incredibly nostalgic.  That strawberry topped cake covered with whipped cream looks like it came from the Italian bakery by my mom's house!
