"LOVE IS SWEET" HANDMADE WEDDING

This beautiful wedding was immediately made sentimental for the bride because it took place in her childhood home. Love was shown in all the handmade details including the guest book in the form of a tree on canvas, signage and more. The handmade details were complemented by a teal, brown and cream color palette. Thanks to Arizona photographer, Anna Marisol, for capturing all the handmade goodness!

ORGANICALLY BEAUTIFUL BRIDAL SHOWER

Acqua restaurant located in NYC's South Street Seaport area has the coziness to feel like home away from home–and the food looks amazing! With a springy farm fresh theme, it was a perfect setting for this bride's shower. The centerpieces were made of herbs with a packet of radish seeds potted in a colander. The favors were small bottles of olive oil and guests were entertained with games and warm laughs. All the fun was beautifully captured by New York photographer, Kelly Williams.

ROMANTIC SURPRISE VOW RENEWAL

Imagine your husband surprising you on the shore of the Columbia River, prepared with a choice of beautiful dresses to renew your vows atop a private island? I know.... too good to be true. Well, this dreamy adventure came true for this lucky lady! A canoe ride and private dinner made it an enchanting evening I'm sure she will never forget! Washington photographer Tonie Christine helped make it all happen and captured the celebration beautifully. I think I'll be sharing this post with my husband. (wink wink!)

DIY GARDENER'S CLOCK

I don't have a green thumb, but I still love this DIY gardener's clock from Worthing Court. This would make such a great Mother's Day or spring birthday gift.  You can find the full tutorial here.

UNDER THE SEA INSPIRED SMASH CAKE SESSION

This has to be one of the cutest mermaids I've ever seen! Little Ayva marked her first birthday by having fun in this smash cake session orchestrated by Virginia photographer, Crystal Reyns. I love how the shoot transferred from mermaid under the sea to cute party girl to celebrating one with the smash cake. The color palette is great inspiration for party decor and of course, this is the perfect complement to any mermaid/under the sea party.

RUSTIC NATURE INSPIRED WEDDING ON THE TUSCAN COUNTRYSIDE

Really, these photos make me want to just run back to Italy! What a beautiful venue and landscape for a wedding or any romantic getaway. The decor was inspired by and perfectly complemented the setting. Some good take-away ideas to keep in mind for your own parties are the use of mixed colored glasses, taking advantage of the warm nights with candle lighting and succulent plants. You don't need extravagant floral centerpieces to make a table look sophisticated. So grateful to photographer Angelica Braccini for sharing the lovely scenery and day with us.
