Adorable woodland creatures gathered round to help welcome this family's newest little one. With the help of Fairy Godmother Wedding & Event Company, this mama-to-be pulled off the cutest decor. The shower featured fresh flowers cut from her mother's garden and bird seed party favors to encourage guests to give back to nature. She even designed and made all the signs and paper products herself. The gift tent and waffle bar are two of my favorite features. Big thanks to Alexis Nelson Photography for capturing the cute details and sharing them with us!

MY GIRLS' BIRTHDAY
I can not believe how fast the days are going by! I just assumed with school out our days would be working on a slower pace, but that has not been the case. One big thing that happened was that my twin girls turned 12 last week. Officially tweens–and maybe the calm before the storm?! It's sad my girls no longer want the themed home parties. So, we let them each invite two friends for a day at Waterworld. Their friends slept over the night before and of course I needed to get some party decor into the night. The adorable party plates and table cover came from Walmart and I used Waterworld's sun logo as the cupcake toppers.
The top of the pineapple made a cute adornment for the cupcake display.
The popcorn was covered with yellow candy melt, and was delicious!
By the way, swedish fish DO NOT float. Not sure how people are getting those shots on Pinterest. LOL

LOVELY HANDMADE WEDDING
This wedding made me realize how much I appreciate the simple task of putting pen to paper–especially in this digital age. This couple did it in two places: on some of their signage integrated into their decor and asking guests to leave their wishes on kraft paper. And let's talk about that! What a great keepsake for the couple. This idea could easily apply to a graduation or retirement party. So fun and personal. Thanks to Indiana photographer, Victoria Rayburn Photography, for sharing the photos and ideas!
