BALLOON & FLOWER GARLAND
Balloons seem to have made a comeback. Bloggers are displaying such different and creative ways to use them. This is one idea from Little Inspiration that is one of my favorites. Combine smaller sized balloons with faux flowers for a plush garland. Perfect for a shower or garden party. The full tutorial is featured here.

MOD ANNIVERSARY PHOTO SHOOT
This is one creative and fun couple! This couple celebrates their anniversary each year with a styled photo shoot. For their 4th anniversary this year they decided on a clean mod theme. Together with Vermont photographer, Colette Kulig, they came up with a black, white and red color palette, with pops of fun! I would love to see this as a trend!

AFRICAN PRINCESS QUINCEANERA
This mom may have missed her calling as an event planner. She made her daughter's dream of being an African Princess come true. From the safari references to the centerpiece crystal accents to the amazing confections, this was most definitely a magical night for her daughter and guests. Thanks to New Jersey's TLGreen Photography for sharing the memories.

CANDY DRINK GEMS
I really love this idea from Whipperberry. A fun and non-permanent way to add color to glasses, mason jars and pitchers while also adding some sweet flavor to your drinks. These drink gems are made with Airheads candy. Don't these glasses look great for summer?! Visit Whipperberry here for the full tutorial.

LODGE HOME WEDDING
Couples often make an effort to infuse personal connections into their big wedding day... but how wonderful for this bride to be able to have her special day at her childhood home?! The home's orchard provided the setting for the ceremony, and a tent was brought in to serve as the reception venue. Using rustic decor to complement the lodge style home, I would say the day turned out to be pretty special! I love the bench used as a guestbook. What a great souvenir to have from your wedding?! The mint and pink color palette looks great against the natural background. Thanks to Washington's B. Jones Photography for sharing the memorable photos.

MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM PARTY IN INDIA
A group of local artists in India came together to create this beautiful setting for a special summer soiree. The bohemian styled shoot mixed custom dyed fabrics, plush green centerpieces, handcrafted pillows and other gorgeous details. I can see this on a NYC rooftop or by a lake on a beautiful warm night. Special thanks to Danielle Valimont Photography for taking and sharing the beauty.

FOCUS ON DESSERT
For most kids (or maybe all!) dessert is the best part of a party... and that doesn't have to mean cake either. This dessert table loaded with cookies, a cascading chocolate fountain, marshmallows, rice krispie treats and more were definitely a main attraction at this little girl's 6th birthday party. And when you see the chocloate-y smile on her face at the end, you can be sure the traditional birthday cake was not missed! Thanks to Florida's Tracy Gabbard Photography for capturing and sharing the sweetness.

30TH BIRTHDAY CAKE SMASH
Why should one year olds have all the fun?? I got a good chuckle from this very fun styled shoot by Alberta's Delightful Perception Photography. But what a great idea! After all, 30 is just as big of a milestone. Inspired by sparkly decor and champagne the team definitely brought new meaning to the phrase "Dirty Thirty."
