Jumping in to say Happy Halloween! I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween - and for those who are having parties tonight - good luck! I know it's always exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time when you're hosting a party. In fact, I'm hosting a 60's themed party Saturday night which I'm a little nervous about because I feel a bit behind. But I'm hoping it all comes together. Fingers crossed!
And don't you love these BOO glasses?! Download the template from Leo Le Pirate here. I printed the template onto orange cardstock and drew in the polka dots.
Happy Halloween!

HALLOWEEN COOKOUT PARTY
Florida photographer Robin Reiss not only was in control of the camera, but she was also the one behind the magic of this Halloween party! As a thank you to many of her clients, she invited them to an afternoon of Halloween treats and fun. There was cupcake decorating, lollipop spider craft, games and a fire pit for roasting hot dogs and s'mores. But, what I love best of all is the photo booth and the smiles on everyone's faces–young and old! What fun! Are any of you hosting a Halloween party?!

GIANT CUPCAKE SMASH PHOTO SHOOT
Canada's Emma Marie Photography did such a great job in capturing little Elliot's sweet encounter with her birthday cake. The photos unveil the event like a story. You can totally sense Elliot's excitement! Elliot's mommy made the cake and sign, and her backyard provided the setting. Enjoy the photos and be inspired for your own memorable smash cake session!

WICKEDLY WONDERFUL WITCH PARTY
We are one week away from Halloween! Eek! I am so excited to share this delightfully wicked Halloween party that is perfect for the little ones as well as we big ones. The ladies of Michigan's Inner Circle Photography designed this amazing party with items they had at home, along with items they purchased at Michaels. I am in love with the purple table covering and don't you love the green balloons bubbling in the cauldron?? What an awesome idea! The girls look like they had so much fun participating in the games and activities. Big thanks to Inner Circle Photography for sharing their spooktacular soiree!

HIGH TEA PARTY AT THISTLE STOP CAFE
If you live in the Nashville area you might be familiar with the Thistle Stop Cafe. Part of Thistle Farms, the cafe staff is comprised of remarkable women who carry inspirational stories of survival from prostitution, addiction and sex trafficking. The Thistle Stop Cafe holds its own story of power and hope, and is a great example of how–when a community unites–it can make a positive social change. More than 100 volunteers supplied the walls, deck, furnishings and cabinetry. Their large collection of tea cups were gathered from around the world and each came with its own story. Their cafe is also used as a space for special occasions. This particular high tea party was given to showcase their special space. If you are in the area, please stop in to enjoy a cup of tea, in honor of justice and new beginnings. Thank you to Nashville photographers, The Collection, for sharing these photos and the significance of The Thistle Cafe. (Please find a list of additional participating event vendors down below.)

BAPTISM GARDEN PARTY
Little Dixie is truly a blessing. Born 2 1/2 months premature she has already shown what a little fighter she is and made her baptism day that more special. Family traveled from Canada, New Zealand and Texas to California to meet her and celebrate with her. Mom is originally from Texas so she wanted to have a Southern garden brunch to celebrate the day. Mom even made the beautiful white cake with the cross of roses. Guests enjoyed tea sandwiches, quiche and sweet treats catered by Sweet Lady Jane. The memorable day was captured by California's Nicolenjoli Photography, who shared the day with us.

SHABBY CHIC SMASH CAKE SESSION
This little girl got to commemorate her birthday in style! Dressed in a luscious pink and cream gown to match her birthday cake, she was ever the gorgeous little gem. I love the shabby chic setting photographer Heather Tartaglia created for this special occasion with help from design and decor vendor Calliope. Great inspiration for a shabby chic birthday party.

CRAFT PUMPKIN CANDY HOLDERS
These little monsters are certainly not scary and willing to share their treats! This is the perfect craft for those of you that choose to leave your candy on your front steps so you can trick or treat with your little ones. (Quite a few people do that in my neighborhood.) Or you can simply use these pumpkin characters to adorn your home. You might even consider putting them on the front porch with a battery operated tea light in their mouth. You can find craft pumpkins at places like Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Find the full tutorial here at Under the Table and Dreaming.
